Chilli and black pepper roti

Note that these are Caribbean-style roti rather than Indian-style.
The original recipe says to dust the top of the rolled-out roti with flour. This does not seem to have any benefit. Nor does the folding-in-half.
Ingredients
- 50g wholemeal flour
- 150g plain flour
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp dried chilli flakes
- 1 tsp black pepper, crushed
- 1 tsp sea salt (fine)
- 125ml water
