Sausage cabbage pasta
From Hugh's Three Good Things by Hugh Fearnley-Wittingstall - page 298.
Serves: 2 – 4
Time: 25 minutes
Honestly, this doesn't serve 4 except as a snack or light lunch or something.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil or other oil if that's all you have
- 350g sausages which is about 5 normal sausages or 2-3 extra large ones.
- 300g dried fusilli or other pasta shapes. Tricolore is best.
- ½ savoy cabbage, sliced or whatever greens you have
- 1 tbsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
This is much nicer than the ingredients might make it sound. Use good quality sausages as they make all the difference in a dish like this.
